Unexpected Visit

Well, first off, I was so excited when I found out that my Aunt Vanessa and Uncle Alfred were coming out to Hawai'i for their 30th wedding anniversary. I had heard that they would be visiting O'ahu, Kaua'i, and the Big Island so I was hoping they would give me a call when they got here to Oahu....sure enough they did and we planned on meeting for dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. We had such a fun time, and I haven't seen them for years so it was really exciting to show off the kiddos. I love when family and friends come to visit and I just keep hoping more will keep coming! Congratulation to my Aunt Vanessa and Uncle Alfred. May God continue to keep your marriage strong!

Landon's 1st Haircut

Well I finally did it! It was so sad for me to cut his hair because I loved his little "flips." But it was getting so long it was in his eyes, so I cut the front. Then Kev wanted me to cut around his ears...well then it just looked like a mini mullet, so I had to cut the back, but he looks so darned handsome now that I can't complain. So of course I saved his clippings and it's officially done now. Landon's first haircut...my baby is growing up little by little.

It's Official...I am the mother of a daughter!

Okay, I say it like that because as the mother of a daughter you need certain skills and I officially french braided her hair in pigtails yesterday! I have never been taught and never really watched anyone do it. Although my friend, Crystal, attempted to show me, however, the kids were being crazy at the time. Anyway, I pretty much just gave it a whirl and figured it out on my own. I only had to redo the first one, and that was because the 2nd one turned out better so I decided I could do the first one better! I know it seems stupid that I am blogging about mine and my daughters first french braids but I am darn proud of myself! They suit her completely!

Splish Splash Kiddos Takin a Bath

I realized I hadn't done
tubby pictures for a while now, and they are always some of my favorites. Man do my kiddos love the tub! Well the water really (unless you count Noah with large pools or the ocean). I really think they would be happy just livin' in the bathtub. When I suds up Cora's hair she looked just like Cindy Lou Who (from Grinch..), but it is so hard to get a good pic of her sometimes. It's totally the nose. Her and Landon have those cute "pixie" noses with the curved slope, ya know.
I just can't believe how much they are changing and growing. It's insane! I hope you all get a kick out of the pics. And I hope you like the halloween pictures on the right. Love you all!

Three Beautiful Faces

Topsy Turvy Toddler
"I'm standing all by myself now!"
I do love it when I get that perfect picture. Damn he's cute!!
I can't believe my "baby" has grown up so much.

Man the kids are growing fast! I wanted to get a few posts in so everyone could see recent photos of the kids. It's so hard sometimes yet so easy at other times. Cora is definitely almost impossible to get a good picture of, no kidding. I need a digital SLR somethin' fierce. I just keep tucking a little away at a time to get my dream camera. Anyway, I still think I end up with some pretty darn good pictures! With these beautiful children I sure as heck can't complain!!
So as you can see Landon is starting to stand on his own now! He's so brave. I really think he could be walking by his first birthday!! Which is awesome considering he was a little behind! I love it! We miss you all and I hope you enjoy the updates!

Neighborhood Picnic

They can never resist the bubbles!

"Check out my cool tat"
We decided to go to the neighborhood picnic, put on by the new leasing company with housing, so the kids could get out of the house and have some good free fun! They had a great time playing with the bubbles and getting "tattoos." Cora got a unicorn on her leg but she was too squirmy for a picture. There were games and prizes that were super easy so they both got something fun. I can't wait to leave here but it is definitely a plus to go to outdoor functions at the end of October without worrying about the chill.

Blues on the Bay!

Blue Angels!

Well on October 13 Noah and I went to see the Blue Angels here at Kaneohe Marine Corps Base. This was our first time seeing them. The other two kids were sick so Kevin let me take Noah since he has seen them in action a few other times. It was so awesome!! I have always wanted to see them and all Noah could talk about the week before and the week after were the "cool jets!" We had a super time and I'm so glad I got to spend the time with him.

Family Lunch Day!

We really enjoyed getting to eat lunch with Noah, and he was so excited to have us at his school with him. He wanted to sit with his best friend Omari and his mom was there too. Noah is always talking about Omari and apparently he talks about Noah alot too. All the kids were so cute today and it was awesome to share in a school activity with Noah.

Captured Moment

I love capturing the perfect moments of my children.
Just beautiful natural things that show their softer
nature. God had blessed us abundantly with our family.
We have such a wonderful God.

Our silly bug!

Oh my goodness! The kids have so much personality. All three of them love to play on the floor and roll around or pass toys back and forth. It's so stinkin' cute to watch. And as you can see they are just so animated when they are having that much fun!

I hope you'll enjoy this way to keep in touch!

Hey everyone! I hope all is going well and I'm giving something new a try because "everyone else is doing it!" And I thought it would be fun and a neat way to connect. I hope it turns out good!
